“世界一座りやすい椅子”を創る。
職人・余部 真一のストーリー。
椅子に魅せられた半生。
高校時代、梅田のショーウィンドウで「Yチェア（ハンス・J・ウェグナー設計）」に出会い、言葉にできない深い感動を覚えました。これが、私の椅子づくり・木工への情熱の原点です。
インテリアショップACTUSでのアルバイトを皮切りに、夜間大学で物質工学を学び、北海道・旭川のCONDE HOUSEや大阪のTRUCK furnitureなど、日本を代表する家具メーカーで製造・販売・椅子張りの技術を徹底的に叩き込みました。その後、大阪・箕面のみのり家具での経験を経て、2022年に独立創業いたしました。
「“世界一座りやすい椅子”を創る。」という目標を掲げ、年代ごとに自身が最高だと思える最高峰の椅子を追求し続けています。ただ家具を直す・作るだけでなく、思い出を次の世代へとつなぎ、ものを長く大切に使い続ける美しい文化を創ることを、ここ箕面の地から発信していきます。
My passion for chairmaking began in high school when I first saw Hans J. Wegner’s Y-Chair in a Umeda shop window. That deep, unforgettable impression led me to study materials engineering while gaining hands-on experience at ACTUS, CONDE HOUSE in Asahikawa, and TRUCK furniture in Osaka, mastering manufacturing, sales, and upholstery.
After years of refining my craft, I went independent in 2022 with a single goal: to create the most comfortable chair in the world. Based in Minoh, I aim to craft the ultimate seating experience for every era of life, while preserving cherished memories and promoting a culture of keeping things for generations.
